WELCOME TO SIDE EYE HIGH : POINT AND CLICK TALES OF HORROR
It’s 1997 in the small, suspicious town of Ravenvale Heights. A string of mysterious student deaths has the whole community on edge… and you, a weary, grizzled ex-detective, have been sent undercover as a “safety auditor” to figure out what’s really going on.
SideEye High is a darkly comedic, mature-themed point-and-click adventure that combines the style of ‘90s classics with modern investigation mechanics. Inspect every hallway, locker, and gum-stained tile—because in this school, everything is evidence.
Features:
SideEye High was built as a response to adventure games that explain too much and ask too little. We wanted to make a detective game that trusts the player. One that does not hold your hand, highlight every answer, or guarantee you will understand everything by the end.
It is a real investigative experience wrapped in a point and click adventure. You observe, you interpret, and you decide what matters. Every action costs time. Every assumption has consequences. You will not see everything, and you will not uncover every truth. That is the point.
SideEye High is a mature detective story told through the language of classic adventure games. No tutorials masquerading as puzzles. No safety rails. Just careful observation, uncomfortable conclusions, and the responsibility of deciding what you believe actually happened.

Fundamental Studios is an independent studio built around one idea. Games should respect the player’s intelligence. SideEye High is our approach to the adventure genre. A mature detective experience that removes safety rails and lets players draw their own conclusions. We design systems that value observation, consequence, and restraint over spectacle or hand holding.
Our goal is not to explain everything. It is to create spaces where players have to think, choose, and live with the results.
